Exeter Trial 2017
Exeter Trial 6th & 7th January 2017.
Ride 240 mile through the night into a winter morning to tackle 15 observed sections and tests.
Entries have opened for The Motor Cycling Club’s (founded in 1901) 88th Exeter Trial. The Exeter is open to members of the MCC, Vintage Motor Cycle Club and Morgan Three Wheeler Club. This Long Distance Reliability Trial will start at 20:01 on Friday 6th and finish on Saturday the 7th January 2017.
There are classes for Pre 1970 Solos, Solos less than 450cc, Solos over 450cc, Sidecars and Three Wheelers. There are three starting points for these classes: Cirencester, Popham Airfield (near Basingstoke) and Sourton Cross (near Okehampton).
Competitors converge on the Haynes Museum in Somerset and then follow a common route to the Finish at Torquay. There is a shorter, less testing route, of 160 miles and 13 observed sections and tests for competitors in class O, which starts at the Haynes Museum.
Entries are open now and close on 21th October. Late entries will be accepted up to the 18th December with an increase in entry fee and no program entry. Entries may be made on line through the MCC website www.themotorcyclingclub.org.uk.
