Lakeland Section Website

The Lakeland Section was formed in 1969 at Threlkeld by a keen group of vintage and classic motorcycle enthusiasts. Almost 60 years later we are still organising events all over Cumbria - we meet regularly at Cafés and hold competitive and social runs.

Our members own vintage or classic motorcycles that are at least 25years old and you will find events that cater for every type of motorcycle and visit most parts of Cumbria at some point each year.
