"Tiddler" Run - for smaller/slower machines

Description

Neil Lewis (current National VMCC Chairman) Is keen to keep runs available for older/smaller/slower bikes. He includes mopeds in that, but we rather envisage girder bikes and BSA Bantam/small Japanese sort of thing happy at 30-40 mph. It’s an experiment really, to see if you have an appetite for such an event. The run will use small roads where ever possible and end at the Black Shed Café, which is also the month's Cafe meet. We will sort out a route on the smaller lanes of 25 miles or so. Gather from 9.30 at the start point, Stonehouse car park, from which we will depart at 10.00am sharp. There will be an agreed route and a run leader, with stops at suitable intervals. You will be expected to sign on and indicate that you are aware of identified risks and mitigations relating to the run and the route. A run of approximately 38 miles. Start and finish is at the Renegade Brewery, Yattenden. Meet at 10.00am to sign on and grab a coffee/tea if so desired - the Tap Room is open from 9.00am. Route sheets are provided so riders can follow the route individually or in groups at their own pace. We return to the brewery for lunch.
