The Vintage Motor Cycle Club expresses our condolences to the friends and family of VMCC Member Maurice Shearing, of Tywyn, Wales, who passed on 9th March 2022.
Under the instruction of the Executrix of the estate, the VMCC are pleased to offer:
Lot 2 1953 BSA B31 350cc motor cycle RRL 316

By his will the late Mr Shearing directed that his 1922 Sun JAP Belt Drive Motor Cycle registration number HT5945 should be offered for sale to such persons who are and have been for the last 5 years paid up members of the Vintage Motor Cycle Club. Unsold lots will be offered to members of the BSA Club
The late Mr Shearing further directed that his 1953 BSA B31 registration number RRL 316 shall in the first instance be offered to such persons who are and have been for the last 5 years paid up members of the said Vintage Motor Cycle Club and if no member of the said club wishes to purchase the motorcycle then the same shall be offered to BSA Owners Club.
It is intended to display the motorcycles at VMCC events to include: Banbury Run, Founders Day, Festival on 1000 Bikes and Caldwell. VMCC Section officers are welcome to borrow the machines for display across the summer months. The machines can also be inspected by arrangement at Allen House Burton on Trent.
VMCC Members, who are and have been a member for the last five years, are invited to place their bid.

This notice will appear in July, August and September Journals and the National Secretary of the BSA Club has been informed.
- Bids must be received by 1st October 2022 and it is intended that the machine will be offered to the highest bidder by October 14th 2022 before bing offered to BSA Club Members.
